Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Manager to join our dynamic team. This position offers remote work opportunities with potential hybrid options for candidates located in TX, VA, OR, GA, PA, or CA. As a Data Systems Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's data systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the organization's data architecture to support business goals and objectives.
• Design and implement data models, database schemas, data integration pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and availability across all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance data management and analytics capabilities.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics, and build dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data management, with a proven track record in designing and implementing complex data systems.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) and ETL processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
