Job Description:

As a Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning of SQL Server databases to ensure optimal functionality and availability. You will collaborate closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to manage database environments effectively and support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Database Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances and databases. Monitor database performance, capacity, and security. Implement and maintain database backups, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.

  2. Performance Tuning: Perform ongoing performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of SQL Server databases. Analyze query performance and recommend improvements. Implement indexing strategies for efficient data retrieval.

  3. Security Management: Implement and maintain database security policies, roles, and permissions. Monitor and audit database access and activities to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
