Job Description: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst with strong technical skills in Java programming and SQL RDBMS to join our finance team. This role will involve analyzing financial data, developing reports, and leveraging technology to enhance financial processes and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles combined with technical expertise in programming and database management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports using Java programming and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Design and implement automated solutions for financial reporting and analysis using Java-based tools and SQL RDBMS.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
• Support financial planning and budgeting processes through data analysis and scenario modeling.
• Assist in the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.
• Provide support during audits and regulatory reviews by preparing financial data and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and technology.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a strong technical background.
• Proficiency in Java programming for financial modeling and automation.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems is a plus.
