About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to join the Customer Excellence Data & Analytics Team, focusing on exploratory analytics for Cards and PLL (Personal Lines and Loans).
Posting Locations: CHARLOTTE, NC; MINNEAPOLIS, MN; WEST DES MOINES, IA; PHOENIX/CHANDLER, AZ; DALLAS/IRVING, TX.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize database knowledge and business processes to perform advanced data analysis.
- Identify customer populations needing remediation and calculate refunds, account adjustments, or other resolutions accurately.
- Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies using research on performance metrics and population trends.
- Maximize profits, asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and operational standards.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement new tools and methods for data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory policies for all managed projects.
- Provide updates on project logs, budget forecasts, newsletters, and operations reviews.
- Assist managers in developing quarterly and annual plans, forecasting market research needs.
- Collaborate strategically with peers, colleagues, and senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Lead projects, teams, or mentor staff, interns, and contractors.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of SAS experience.
- 3+ years of SQL experience.
- 1+ year of Teradata and/or Oracle experience.
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to quickly grasp business operations and processes.
- Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations.
- Experience managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize work and achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to work onsite in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; West Des Moines, IA; Phoenix/Chandler, AZ; Dallas/Irving, TX.
