Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test UI for mobile and web applications.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Translate user and business needs into functional frontend code accurately.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Develop high-quality mockups and prototypes.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Maintain and enhance company websites.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals like back-end developers and web designers.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
- Adapt and use existing web applications for apps.
- Write functional requirement documents and guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years specifically in JavaScript.
- Proficient in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS.
- Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Familiarity with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks is advantageous.
- Proficient in cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
- Experience with tools like Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
- Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Understanding of SEO principles and their application in web development.
- Experience with Netsuite is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
