Job Details:

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Scientist to join our team and lead innovative projects in artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role will involve developing cutting-edge algorithms, conducting research, and implementing solutions to solve complex business problems.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Algorithm Development and Research:

   • Research, design, and develop machine learning algorithms to solve business challenges.
   • Implement state-of-the-art models for tasks such as classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation systems.
   • Conduct experiments and evaluate model performance using statistical methods and data analysis techniques.

2. Data Preparation and Feature Engineering:

   • Preprocess and analyze large-scale datasets to extract meaningful features.
   • Apply data augmentation techniques and domain-specific knowledge to enhance model accuracy.
   • Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines for training and inference.

3. Model Training and Optimization:

   • Train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
   • Optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and computational efficiency.
   • Implement techniques for hyperparameter tuning and regularization to improve model generalization.

4. Deployment and Integration:

   • Collaborate with software engineers to deploy machine learning models into production environments.
   • Ensure robustness and reliability of deployed models through monitoring and maintenance.
   • Integrate machine learning solutions with existing systems and applications to automate processes and enhance functionality.

5. Research and Innovation:

   • Stay updated with the latest research in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
   • Propose and explore new ideas, methodologies, and technologies to advance our machine learning capabilities.
   • Publish research findings in conferences and journals to contribute to the field of AI and ML.

6. Collaboration and Leadership:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
   • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Skills Required:

• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and neural network architectures.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and implement data preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines.
• Experience in model evaluation, validation, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their machine learning services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machine learning research and development.
• Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and implementing machine learning models in real-world applications.
• Experience in leading machine learning projects or teams is preferred.
